
These terms and conditions are entered into by and between Square One Gym LTD (hereinafter: “Square One”) and You (hereinafter: “the Member or Trialist”). Membership (hereinafter: includes ‘28/30-Day Experience/Fit In Four Programme)
These terms and conditions are entered into by and between Square One Gym LTD (hereinafter: “Square One”) and You (hereinafter: “the Trialist”).
TERMS & CONDITIONS

Our 28 Day Experience / Introductory Offers / Memberships cannot be shared.

The Trialist confirms that they are 18 years old or older. For those aged 16 or 17 years old, exceptions may be granted based on written consent from parent or guardian. We cannot service people under the age of 16 years old.

The Trialist confirms that they are not suffering from health problems that would hinder exercise or prevent them from engaging in exercise, or that would be detrimental or adverse to the Trialist’s health, safety or physical condition if they did exercise. In case of any doubt, the Trialist shall seek advice by a medical doctor who should confirm the ability to exercise.
Square One shall have no obligation to perform a fitness assessment or similar testing to determine the Trialist’s physical condition. If an assessment is done at Square One, it is for the sole purpose of compiling data in order to personalise the programme and/or track the Trialist’s progress in a programme and not for diagnostic purposes.

Each Trialist of Square One shall be liable for any property damage and/or personal injury caused by the Trialist on the Square One premises. It shall be the obligation of the Trialist to pay for any costs involved upon presentation of a statement thereof.

Any and all use of the Square One facilities shall be at Trialists own risk at all times. The Trialist shall not utilise any equipment unless he/she knows the appropriate usage. Square One shall not be liable for any injuries, physical impact or damages to the Trialists, or the property of the Trialist, or be subject to any claim arising out of the use of the premises and/or of the equipment made available to the users.

Square One does not take responsibility for loss or theft of any personal items. Any items left on Square One premises will be kept for a period of four weeks before being disposed of.

Code of Conduct
We like to create a supportive, fun and non-intimidating environment here at Square One.
In order for us to be able to do so, we ask all of our customers to follow the below code of conduct. Not only will this help for us to remain a welcoming and happy place to come, but it also means our members and staff will stay safe!All customers must have an initial 1-2-1 evaluation session.
Spectators are not permitted in the gym due to space.
Please store all bags and valuables in the provided shelves at the entrance. Square One cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings.
Appropriate, clean sportswear and footwear must be worn at all times.
Glass bottles and cans are not allowed in the gym.
Food consumption is prohibited within the gym premises.
The use of alcohol or illegal substances is strictly forbidden.
Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are not allowed anywhere on the premises.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for foul or abusive language directed at staff or members.
Treat gym equipment with care. Please wipe down equipment after use and return it to its designated location.
Use equipment only as intended.
Report any equipment malfunctions to a staff member immediately.
Dispose of litter in the bins provided to help keep our facility clean and tidy.
Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in the immediate termination of your membership without refund. Let’s work together to ensure Square One remains a safe and positive space for all. If you notice an issue, please report it to a member of staff right away.

If the Trialist behaves in a way that breaches the code of conduct, the 28-Day Experience / Sumer Kickstart can be suspended or terminated at management’s sole discretion.

Square One is open Monday to Friday 6am until 9pm, and Saturday from 7am – 12pm, with the exception of bank holidays and exceptional circumstances, when times may vary. Classes are available according to times stated in Square One’s booking system. Classes and instructors are subject to change with no prior notice.

The Trialist or Member is responsible for the payment of the 28-Day Challenge & Membership Fee. This is true even if the amount is debited directly by Square One. Agreed price only applies if the Trialist/Member pays according to the agreed conditions.
The 28-Day Experience is a standalone product with a one-off fee. There is no ongoing commitment to the Square One once the Experience is completed. If the Trialist decides to sign up for an ongoing membership, the Membership Ts and Cs will become active.

If the Trialist agrees to sign up as a Square One member:
The first month’s payment or pro-rata amount and any sign-up fee are paid at the point of this agreement.
The following monthly payments will be paid on the 1st of every month. The Member is responsible for all payments, also in the case of automatic debits by Square One and the Member has given approval for an automatic debit from his/her account or card and any wish to cancel must be communicated in writing with a minimum of one full calendar months notice, to include all payments scheduled to be made during this period.If the payment is late the member will receive a reminder email from Square One and access may be suspended. The membership continues to run even if the access is suspended. If after 30 days the amount is still not paid, the Member is in violation of the terms and the total outstanding amount will be due.

During 7 days from the start of the membership, the Member can cancel his membership free of charge, and will be reimbursed in full.

All ongoing memberships require a minimum commitment of three months, paid monthly. After this period, memberships transition to a rolling monthly agreement, with no fixed contract term.
To cancel a membership, you must provide at least one full calendar month's notice. For example, if you cancel on January 4th, your membership will remain active for the payment term, with cancellation taking effect on February 1st and concluding at the end of February.
Memberships are renewed automatically upon payment for the next month. If your payments are made via direct debit from an account or card, cancellations must be submitted in writing at least one full calendar month in advance. During the notice period, any scheduled payments will still be due. To cancel, please email support@square1pt.com.

An early cancellation is exceptionally granted if the Member moves more than ten miles away from any Square One facilities, on presentation of an official document to prove change of address. It is also possible to cancel the membership due to medical reasons, upon presentation of a medical certificate.

Prices will increase in line with inflation, on an annual basis.

You are unable to pause or freeze memberships, except due to exceptional circumstances where it is medically impossible to use Square One’s services. In this case, a signed medical certificate will be required as proof.

Classes are available according to times stated in the Square One Gym Ltd booking system. Classes and instructors are subject to change with no prior notice.

Membership Tier
Memberships can be upgraded at any time. However should a downgrade be required, one month’s notice is required before the next payment is due.
If cancellation notice has been given, membership downgrades are unable to be authorised.
